The Metroplex has come to expect the best from Campisi’s, a family-owned restaurant that serves traditional Italian dishes. But the pizza is the real star of this legendary Dallas eatery. It has a crisp layer of crust that carries toppings like fennel-laced sausage, diced slices of salami, bell peppers sliced green onions and salami. And, just to make sure you don’t confuse them with the competition, the pies are cut into rectangles. Though the original Campisi’s Egyptian can boast the longest-lines outside its padded-front door, there are several Campisi outposts in the Metroplex area.
