Located in trendy Uptown of the West Village, the Magnolia Theater offers a sophisticated atmosphere and intimate screening space. The theater was built 12 years ago but underwent a huge renovation just two years ago. Now, it has leather seats, Barco digital projection and an updated digital sound system to its five screens. This isn’t your run-of-the-mile theater. The Magnolia Bar offers specialty cocktails and gourmet concessions including hummus and naan, steak and cilantro empanadas and pizzas from Campisi’s restaurant. The Magnolia shows the newest documentaries and is made for the serious film aficionado. This is a perfect theater for date night.
